Keepsake Dachshund: Memory Dog Sewn from Loved One's Clothing

Handmade keepsake stuffed animals made to honor the memory of your loved one. This keepsake dachshund dog will be made from clothing once worn by your loved one as a keepsake of special clothing or events like baby or wedding outfits. You send me the clothes and I will create the kitten from them.
My memory animals are sewn on an industrial sewing machine with high quality materials to create a long lasting preserved memory.

PRODUCTION TIME:
Due to the customization of memorial items and the amount of orders in my queue production time varies and is only an estimate. If you have a specific need by date please let me know and I will let you know if I can accommodate that. Factors that can increase the time it takes to complete the order are number of bears ordered, complexity of the customization requested, and amount of embroidery requested. Starting time is based on the number of orders in front of you. Your start date will be set once I receive your clothing however this is still an estimate. If an order in front of yours takes longer than expected this could change. Shipping times vary based on the number of animals you order. The turnaround time shown is an estimate. I work as quickly as possible but I'm one person with only my husband as my helper. Thank you in advance for your patience!
Please do not assume that the time frame etsy sets for your order is correct. I work on orders in the order that I receive the clothing. Etsy does not know when you place the order how long it will be until I receive the clothing that you send. Their system does not calculate the difference in time needed to complete an order of 6 bears and an order of 2 bears. If you have any questions about time frames please ask before ordering. ORDERING PROCESS-
1.Choose your options and place your order. Leave all customizing details in
the personalization box.
2. Once the order is placed I will send you the shipping address for sending the clothing.
3. Prepare and send clothing to sending address (below)within 3 days of
placing order. Contact me if this is a problem as I am flexible on this.
4.Once I receive your package I will contact you to let know the scheduled estimated start date for your order. This is only an estimate and contingent on orders in front of yours being completed first.
5.When I start your order I will contact you again to let you know. I will
also contact you when your item ships.

ACCEPTABLE CLOTHING-
YES- Cotton, cotton blends, flannel, polyester, polyester blends, stretchy denim, seersucker, T-shirts, sweatshirts, button downs, light weight jackets, robes, and light weight sweaters.
NO- leather, sequins (a few may be okay), see through items, swimsuits, fur coats, and under garments.
Please launder clothing if needed prior to shipping.
PLEASE ASK if you are in doubt.

Amount of CLOTHING NEEDED per bear:
Adults clothing : 1-2 pieces
Children and baby clothing: 5-6 pieces
-Sizes make a difference so you may need more or less fabric. Example: 1 large adult shirt will make 1 bear. 6 pieces of newborn clothing will barely make a bear. Please ask if in doubt.

*Left over fabric will be discarded unless requested back in the personalization box. Customers are responsible for shipping charges related to the scrap fabric. You will receive an invoice for the charges through email once your order is complete. You will have 3 days to take care of paying the invoice or the scrap fabric will be discarded. I do not have room to keep it longer.

**All items are made in a SMOKE FREE, DOG FRIENDLY home. in the winter months we do use a wood stove in the basement. My sewing studio is in the Garage.
